The sixties was a time for people to express them self,
never realizing what an impact in history would be left.
Marching in the streets, holding their signs,
stronger as the numbers increased, to get a message heard,
never backing down, for they were believers of the word.
Speakers telling stories, that had happened in the past,
eyes in disbelief, hoping they could change things, at last.
You have to admire them, for they stood together as one,
a mission they were determined to win, changing the
pattern of the way things had been done.
