The Sense of Sensation

Feeling alone with no one to call on; I am just on my own. I do not want my name carved on a tombstone; with the rest of the bones that lie in the six feet holes. Although I know nothing last forever; I want your feelings forever. I wanted you but you lost me when I exceeded your expectations. Did you perceive me as cold and lonely? You read me wrong and now you’re cold and lonely. I love you but how could I stay true when I am everybody’s one and only. My sensitive perception told me you would never be the one like smelly garbage in hot sun. Now you sit in your own pool of astonishment; looking as if you cannot think past your own thoughts of who you perceived me to be. I become conspicuous when I walk in a room. Why did you have feelings for me? Now you’re bitter with pain. I have feeling for everyone so for you I could never feel the same. So for your broken heart how could I be the blame?
