The Search For You

Searching the expanse of night skies, my eyes gazing into the heavens, hoping to set upon the brightest dazzling intensity of a star to my heart that is brilliantly you My life to this moment has crossed vast oceans, deepest of seas, climbing Mount Everest, desert dunes as I keep falling to my knees, battling elements, walking through hottest fires in mere discovery of my needs Fairy tales are your beauties heard in whispers, rumor aromas within the air, fables of enchantment, legends and myths of a maiden majestic and fair Your presence escaping, eluding, evasive but, I know you are there, persistence in pursuing, this love flourishing abound will not cease until destiny’s kindled and near One eternal round, sailing the world, to each corner of the Earth, seven seas, five continents, the journeys what are they worth To find someone kinder called friend, a girl next door, it was I who you were always looking out for, all along remained hidden, out of sight, a splendor unseen, you were the real treasure, why were you the one I could not see It was through countless ages,in dimensions future, present, and past, mislead by a focus of prize at the rainbows end, the Holy Grail blinded by ideals of obtaining the rings of brass, but, alas the quest humbling has reached its end and I have finally found you, the star of my heart at last
