The Seagull and the Dove

The seagull and the dove

There was a time,
when I thought that,
love would never come...

but as the time goes by...
you've changed my mind.

This vision of you,
goes on and on...

my mind is so alive...
hoping for you,
helps me survive

Chorus

Patiently...
I will keep waiting,
for you
Time flies,
with the wings of love
I'm your seagull,
and you're my dove...
I'll keep waiting,
patiently...
for your love.

Woman,
I've dreamed of us,
together... ev'ry day

A vivid imagination...
but I can't,
find the words to say

I can't think,
of anything...
that I want more

I'll be waiting
here for you...
Now, please make
my dreams come true

Chorus

Patiently...
I will keep waiting,
for you
Time flies,
with the wings of love
I'm your seagull,
and you're my dove...
I'll keep waiting,
patiently...
for your love.

The years,
have passed by quickly...
and now,
I'm old and grey,

And, when you finally,
find me...
Will you,
still love me anyway?

Bridge
I've spent,my whole life, waiting...
for you to come...
I'll keep waiting, here patiently...
until... my days are done.

Chorus

Patiently...
I will keep waiting,
for you
Time flies,
with the wings of love
I'm your seagull,
and you're my dove...
I'll keep waiting,
patiently...
for your love.
