Love Poem: The Pavilion!

The Pavilion!

Sitting underneath this pavilion, thinking....

Of how I have beheld the shadows of darkness' scorching face

Sweeping across the skies of all of life, trying its very best

To encase them, within its sorrows of sorrow!

Some people say or think, that I do not know tears?

But oh, how I surely do....

And some people say or think, that I do not know lose?

But oh, how I sadly do....

Always trying to entangle the light, this darkness

Arising and rising, to spread its wings of woe

To cast its shadows of despair, upon them that hold?

Trying to permeate, with its hopelessness and lies....

No one can escape, not even I, the brushings of its wings

But long ago, "Christ" delivered me, from its grip of death

And yet it is a relentless realm, whereof no flesh is immune

Unto its ever searching and seething spears of plights

Mercy though, and time, have taught me well....

For when I see its poisoned fangs, its twisted snarling face

By the Power of Grace, within "Heavens Boundless Love"

I crush it underneath my feet, as quickly and surely, as I possibly can!

But others like to intwine themselves; always holding on

Perpetuating, within these fetters that are cast

Yet not I, it is not my purpose in this life, not anymore....

I would rather shed the light of hope, to a heart

And to a soul, that has been battered and torn asunder

By this deceivingly vicious, and timeless foe!?

Sitting underneath this pavilion of ancient old

Glancing at a gondola passing by, as I consider this life....

Sifting through these silver copper and golden coins

Offered into this color laced basket, along the paths of time

Amid the corridores, these souls, long, before they were ever born....

Some people say, that I do not know?

But oh this vase of clouds within this realm of sight

For clarity, is yet a fleeting of truth

Unto the eyes which fail to seek and to know

Beyond their own chains; these fetters of will....

Let me extend this candle, by "Grace," let it shine on high

For all to see, and for all of life, these, "Mercies Hands!"

Some people say, that I have never felt?

But I say, break these binds, seek and you shall find....

Darkness, slayed forever at your feet; bleeding out

Underneath the pavilion, of Heavens provincial "Light!"
