The Only Echo
No dream makes any sense,
A dream is a foolish notion.
Dreamers will always dream alone,
No time can change what is now.
Wait an unplanned suffering,
A fruitless search without goals.
Life goes on unheeded through time,
We will stand as God allows.
Stay with me in the shadows,
I stand as naked as skin on bone.
Taken from my home, ripped away,
See my inner soul rages pain.
Darkness waits to conceal me,
Your eyes see through the shadows.
I understand we must all find love,
We are as lonely as each other.
Blindness will consume my vision,
Of you my eyes travel through time.
Hold a desperate man closely,
He only wants what he gives in return.
I am still, motion is slowly subdued,
My heart beats as my mother inside.
Feed me your bountiful words,
Of you, I will eat only of the whole.
