The Ocean
Alone on the shore, his ball by his side
The ebb and the flow touched him inside
Watching the lovers kiss on the shore
Longing to be whole forever more
He takes off his shoes and feels the moon
Through his dreams he knew he’d meet her soon
He captured her aura at last from afar
He met his serenity under the stars
In all his dreams he saw the angels face
Under the moonlight in that very place
He walks towards her and embraces her hand
For that instance alone in the soft sand
He says “I pictured you here and I knew you’d come”
They waited the night and welcomed the sun
Now inner peace resides, no more being afraid
For tonight by the ocean true love was made
