The Nightmare of Reality -Part 1-

8/15/12

There is no escape They say it, they whisper it softly In the darkness, where the dripping of water is heard Save yourself—get out while you still can! I’m not leaving you! You need to go. . .run You love the chase—you’ll only catch me And slaughter me Slaughter… There’s a million bloodstains in these dark cellars How many have you slaughtered? Slaughtered. . . Don’t ask questions. . .just LEAVE They are coming—I hear them They surround us and the dripping ceases Let me be with you NO! Get out of here—hurry! I love you Stop! Please. . .I hear them coming No. I feel them They’re here Invisible grinning burning our souls Bleeding out grueling, heart-pounding fear Stillness plundering my stricken brain I told you to run but you didn’t listen Listen. . . I’m not leaving you to them I’ll— You won’t I can’t fight it. . .I’m not strong Your mask blinds you And the blood of the innocent COMPLETES you What have you done to them? We’re together now Only you and me That’s all we ever wanted. . .needed Needed. . . I walk on the blood of my loved ones Standing with the slayer And the demons laugh as they know I am left with nobody I’m next Next. . . Don’t listen to them! GET AWAY FROM HER! Take ME No. . .don’t My hands are shaking, dripping with blood How can I not remember? I woke to no escape I woke to the lack of her face
