The Morning Star
Look toward yonder Morning Star
And follow the staircase to your dreams
Love will find you where ‘ere you are
So cast your garlands in the streams
See them catch the golden sun beams
Gaze steadily upon its brilliant light
It calls us, 'come meet the glorious dawn'
It is the prize to keep in sight
As it is from light that pure love was born
And apart, the twain shall not be torn
This path is rugged; the journey long
At times we’ll stumble and look away
We’ll be accused of the same old song
Still, we must rise each time and be on our way
Light and love for us all shall never stray
