The Lord's Love

I need your unconditional love in my life. I don't just come to you in my hour of need, I have daily conversations with you morning and night which helps to heal any dismay I feel. I know I call on you often to help my friends and I feel that my prayers are always answered in the perfect way. It is such a blessing to know the comfort of your protective care, to know that you are always there watching over my family, watching over all of those who believe, as well as those who do not even believe that you exist. How wrong they are to feel that they are alone in this world.

There are ways to teach without preaching, to guide without causing resentment, for telling another how to live is always met with resentment. Sharing one's own experiences helps the most to teach a lost soul who feels no reverence for the Lord. We all have the same God, and God is manifested in Love. Your Angel's must be very tired of me calling on them at all hours. The world is in much need of your help during these trying times of wars, of floods, and fires, and earthquakes that have killed so many. I went to church for many years, but I no longer feel the need to because you dwell in my heart and in my mind always. I share my love for you in my poetry and in my deeds of love for those I feel I can help. I have taught my children to love you and call on you as much as I do. They have perfect faith that you will answer their prayers.

Whenever I see a lovely sunrise or sunset I feel your love shining through the clouds. You color my life with such beauty that it makes me weep. I feel closest to you in the nature you have provided here on this earth. With every bird that takes to the skies and sings sweet songs to bring us cheer, with the joy of every baby's birth, with every animal that warms our hearts, I give you thanks. Beyond and above anything else in my life, I treasure your love the most. I trust that your plan for my life is the road I want to follow, the path that guides me toward your light is so very bright. I will always be grateful for the life you have given me, for the blessings of family and friends, and though I have had many trials and tribulations, I have learned and grown from them, and I realize how much you have taught me. How much you love me. There will never be an end to my prayers nor my praises. Your love is my sacred blessing.
