The Journey
Once in a while I was walking along this side of the road,
Bringing nothing but myself and millions of stories untold,
I have a ruined heart and a confused mind,
Feeling that the world is everything unkind,
But just exactly as a magic spell,
You entered in my life and gave me a smile.
From then on, you and I became friends.
Friends who share laughter, tears and craziness of each other,
We gazed in the sun and raced in the moon
We slept on clouds and sing songs though out of tune
Everything seems perfect, and my happiness was unfathomable
But soon enough I never realized that it has to end,
I can have you for a moment, but forever I can’t lend.
And Just as I thought I could have you for long
I did not notice that you have to go on.
To continue another journey, where I don’t belong,
To have a new chapter in life, to sing a new song,
So you had to say goodbye with sadness in your eyes
While I fight back my tears though I really wanted to cry,
So I just hope and pray that one day we’ll meet again
And have another journey to begin.
