Love Poem: Ripples

Ripples

Tree-tops bend beneath a bottomless sky
winds of change carry along seeds of hope
of a newly planted day

Ripples in the pond multiply with each drop
of what carries us forth away from the same
when one lost their way

Chirps of a winters trip come to an end
eyes glimmer knowing you're not far behind
as the kettle blows

Sending echoes across valleys of the living
where souls go to rest when night are cold
but nobody knows

Seamless the seeds sprout life anew
Reuniting lengthened days ever true
