Rewind ( Part Two )

Rewind..

Isn't it just amusing, how something that looked so real,
Something you thought you could see, hear, and feel,
Existed to reveal,
The fact that in a second everything can turn out to be surreal,

You promised me, that we'd be,
In " our " world, where we'd set our souls free,
But all I seem to see,
Are the metal bars of my caged soul rusting in front of me,

My white dress glimmers no more, I spent hours waiting for you in the rain,
And it is turning black from all of the pain,
That has been suffocating my soul with endless chains,
Of hatred and disdain,

The only melody I hear descending from the sky,
Is its roars of thunder and cold droplets of eternal cries,
As I ask myself why,
Did this have to be our final goodbye,

Kissing your lips has become nothing but a dream,
The fragrance of your perfumed clothes surrounds me as tears stream,
Down my pale cheeks, can you hear my broken heart scream?
It's screaming out loud for help, nothing is what it seems,

Paradise looks so far away,
Where you and I used to run and play,
I get on my knees and pray,
That God would give me back yesterday,

Since you left, all that remains is a dying rose,
That holds its leaves close,
Together, for the wind's cold blows,
Have precluded it to grow,

Alas, your absence has goaded me to create a world so imaginary,
Where you'd love me as much as I love thee..
