Love Poem: One Did Fall

One Did Fall

Can a heart become what a story tells?
Where happiness thrives and a daydream dwells
Of course the passion grows on sight
Excitement by day, warmth by night

Filling the hole of empty bliss
Can be made by a simple ‘time-for-work’ kiss
Arching smiles can be noticed by all
Right into Cupid’s love, one did fall

By God, the thought runs through one’s head
Never wanting this love to be found dead
Glorious times one can hardly endure
The disbelief, but alas, compassion ensured

The Great Depression of solitariness now done
That grey time of guilt and remorse, overrun
No words to explain it, what more is there to say?
Do not ever ask for this to all go away!

Floating just like a bird, singing by a calm river
This heart has never been cherished, but is always a giver
Rest well tonight, for another day is pending
And that smile, that feeling, will be never-ending
