Love Poem: Night's Love

Night's Love

Dark clouds
Midnight
What was that
A quick flash of light
Rain pouring down
Look at that lightning strike
Feel the power raging on
Close your eyes you dont need your sight
A boy stands in the middle of an open field
Engulfed in flames
Eyes closed arms spread focusing
His hatred plays no games
His burns are his motivation
His past is his facination
Vengence is his sole occupation
One shot no demonstration
No drugs
No Hallucination
Only destruction can bring his jubilation

The one who loves him sends up a prayer
For an angel to help him in his dispear
To help him see more than betrayal in the air
And to soothe the pain he bears
To let him know someone cares

Immediately everything starts to cool
It starts to rain
Putting out his fire
Putting out his pain
Scared of the madness
That nearly drove him insane

As the power of night unhinges
Everything shifts
Everything changes
He is standing in front of her
She is wrapping his heart in bandages
Standing face to face on a moon lit beach
All alone they start to speak
They fall for each other so fast
They are on a happiness high
For love begins in the night sky
