My Hearts Being Guided
Time passes the more I sit and think,
I cannot dwell or contemplate,
What's done is done, there's new to come,
The past can't be rewritten, or undone,
New experiences take me where I need to be,
The love in my heart is eternally free,
When abuse tries to come n steal it away,
I am reminded to look the other way,
There Is a peace settled deep in my soul,
Even when chaos is surrounding me, this calm wind blows,
It tells me pain is momentarily, that loves still alive,
Even when I'm crying or when things just don't seem right,
This peace is trust beyond my feelings,
It dries the tears from my eyes, God's beautiful healing,
When pain comes to destroy me, I am reminded,
This is not an accident, my heart's being guided.
