Love Poem: Lost In Our Love

Lost In Our Love

Fragments, and crumbs of life, all the little pieces." by John Ruskin, 1853 ____________________ your dark fathomless eyes and that deep melodic voice were magic for my soul oh. those lovely walks along the beach talking about whatever resting in our special place where we lay beneath a weeping willow tree for hours with a perfect blue azure sky over us and a gentle breeze caressing our skin oh, this is a memory beautiful a fragment, a crumb of life then, you kissed my waiting lips whispering sweet words and we were lost in our love lulled by singing birds and like vines twining, growing together so did our love . . . oh, I wish I could freeze time for today . . . I weep at your tomb _________________________ August 24, 2020 Poetry/Free Verse/lost in our love Copyright Protected, ID 20-1281-035-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France Written for the contest, STRAND COMPLETELY NEW (27) sponsor, Brian Strand First Place
