Lonely

Lonely...
Is where I can often be found
Not making much of a fuss or a sound
My life as I know it has let me down
I sit here alone
Starring at the phone
Hoping you'll call
Standing down an empty hall
Trying to remain strong through it all
I sit here alone
I have no one
To call my own
Memories of you
Flood my every waking moments
And they fill
My everlasting nights
It just don't seem right
I loved you so much
Loved you with everything I had
Still love you
With everything I am
With all my heart, with all my soul
From you I have never been able to get them back
Saying the right things at the right time
Is something I lack
I don't think I was wrong
To love you when we were young
I do think that our love had only just begun
But am I wrong for still loving you today
Something is telling me no
But all I have to do now is wait for you to say so
Yes I've been known to wear my heart on my sleeve
You are the one I never wanted to walk away from, I never wanted to leave
Then again maybe it is wrong to still feel this way
Cause all I do is wait for that call to come in
I pray for that chance to hear you say, it's okay
Until then this is where I can be often found
Hoping to once again be with whom I know to be my one and only
Not making much of a fuss or sound...
Lonely
