Love Poem: Lady So Divine

Lady So Divine

Sweet voices speak
As I begin to tremble
The gentle touch of hands so tender
Leaves me with nothing but hunger

Loving arms that caress my soul
Wash away the filth of yesterday
Emotions sprung from a lifetime's worth of Love
Centered on my heart that was once so cold

Beautiful eyes, of color ocean blue
Wiping away the tears of joy
Longing for nothing more, and nothing less
Amazing soul, that's oh so coy

Rose petals fall upon our feet
Just as the moment our eyes first did meet
Pollen whisking through the air
Mine eyes did see a lady so fair

The twisting, the turning, of bodies no longer pure
Cleansing the sickness of which there is no cure
The tender kisses of such moist lips
Learning the formation of the tulips

Lady so divine, never leave my side
Dance through liquid time
Forget the calamity of days gone by
Just as the moment your lips first tasted mine
