It's Something We 'Do'

Some think it works better when it's tough. Some like to avoid it, seeing it as weakness.

If it be a weakness, why does everyone seek it?
He/she who has it finds ways to freely give it away.

But it's really neither tough nor weak. It has motion but is not 'just an emotion'.

Is it for us to reach out, to teach, and to touch? We mortals so often turn it on and turn it off.

It demands responses because it's an action word; but you either have it in you to act, or you don't.

No need to ask, "Is it in me?" If it is, all will know.
As a river, it will flow; and like a tree, it will grow

So is it for you and me to care, or to be indifferent? We must give of our substance but also, of yourselves.

The Grecians called it Agape, Eros, and Phileo.
The English have just a single word called "LOVE".

Oh, it doesn't really matter what we call it. But it means everything that we actually do it.
