Its Not All Bad
Living apart often made us Sad,
but to be fair its not all bad.
its not the way it was supposed to be ..
you live by you and I live by me..
it was just a year that we were married..
time blew the wind and you were carried..
It was for your new job,in your hometown,
I stayed back for mine, and that we would come down.
Weekends were planned to travel and to meet,
watch the movies or just cook and eat.
Living apart often made us Sad,
but to be fair its not all bad.
We loved more and cared more,
we talked less but shared more.
we stopped taking us for granted,
little thing now we badly wanted.
We also got time to learn new things
studied more and grew new wings.
you learned to swim, I learned to drive.
we learned to live, we learned to thrive.

Time will turn and we will find a way,
to get back together and live each day.
