It's hard for me to sleep at night
I'm wide awake. It's only three
Beside me there's an empty bed
You're not there, it's only me
Your heart still beats within mine
And I have you deep inside
Though you're looking down from Heaven
We still continue on life's ride
You're with me everywhere I go
Through my eyes, your eyes still see
Through my touch you feel what I feel
Your ears still listening with me
You smell and taste the coffee
As it's steaming in my face
You will always be here with me
In my heart, with God's good grace.
If I could do it all again
I would do it, you can bet
We'll still have great times together
For it isn't over yet
