It's been 7 long years
Since I saw your face;
That day indelibly
Etched on my memories -
My heart still races...
You'd think my foolish
Heart would move on,
Forget the hurt;
Remember how strong
I've been to
Overcome...
But somehow the
Devastation of that
Moment in time
Shattered my life
So completely...
That it's a miracle
I stand here still -
Undefeated
But bloodied and
Bruised
Within...
Yeah, it's been 7
Long years
And life has gone on...
But I'm still there
In that room
Where I was
Entombed
In memories...
Hoping to be
Graced with a
Joyful future
With you for eternity...
