It's alright
never thought it would be
after all the struggled failures
and getting past the sadness
never thought I'd get here
this is the point of no return.
All the tears long shed
falling without effort
holding onto the memories
the blessings of me and you
now over and done
never to be again.
The loneliness is pushed way down low
and the emptiness
finds comfort in still being here
without you and your comfort
but having lived well and loving forever
it's alright being alone.
