Love Poem: It Was All Lust

It Was All Lust

It was just lust
How do I express my feelings to you?
When all you gave were just the connection to paradise
How do I let myself in?
When there was a burning fire in front of me
Take my heart as it is
Demolish it if you have too
As long as I get to feel you right next to me
And not feel ashamed
Take my mind to your heart and
Explore it as I was just there to satisfy the unforgiving soul
Take my eyes and take it to places I cannot touch
Take my hand and show it to the tormented features of the brain
Take my heart and fill it with the healing fibres of your voice
Drive my legs to the deepest lengths that were truly deprived
I’m sorry I’m not much of an expresser but when you took that
Venom to the mind and expected her to just follow thru
You were wrong
You are still wrong because she just wanted words
Everlasting words that could just make her look at the sky and forget

I blame you
I will always blame you
You left me to die with the trees that you planted
You let me burn with the papers that told our story the most
You let me drown with the oceans while looking back at our
Reflection on the changing colour

Now I’m stuck with my touched bruises
And my filthy mind
I know you will leave her once you find out but I’m sorry…you have to go

someone please help me understand
what love is because its very painful
