It Is Finished
If my hope can lead another heart
To the joy that God bestows…
If my faith can lead another soul
To the wonder that God imparts…
If my love can lead another life
To the peace that only God gives…
Then my heart will be encouraged
My soul will be reassured with promise
My life will mean more than just existing
My heart will feel like I’ve been blessed
With inspiration, insight and wisdom
My soul will feel like I’ve been exalted
With sensations of kindness and splendor
My life will feel like it has been worth more
Than merely existence for me, personally
If my life can lead others to Jesus
I believe my soul will be sanctified, blessed
By the One I call Savior, King, Prince of Peace…
The Creator of all things that make my life…
Into a place I can find hope and reassurance,
A place I can know is dancing with the stars…
He scattered in the sky like dandelion lights.
Leading others to Him, the One who is a friend
Means giving into the love that He nurtures and incites…
Love that is a gift from the One who gives unconditionally
If someone sees Jesus in me…. It is finished!
John 19:30 (KJV) 30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the ghost.
