It Happened On a Rainy Night
Foggy mists engulfed the bright
When raindrops fell throughout the night
The lampposts glowed at midnights dark,
When sweethearts kissed at Lover's Park.
On the park bench, under cover, they sat side by side,
Their hearts singing in unison with all anxieties cast aside.
Their lips in fervent passion locked again and again,
While the rain outside was chanting in low refrain.
