It All Ends
It all ends whe you give up,
when you can't find your way out;
then darkness comes down on you...
to take away the beautiful light...
and you wished you had pulled through...
to regret what you can't undue!
All the certainty you felt inside
has been washed away by tides
like those footprints on the dry sand,
wondering where they all went!
It all ends when you feel down,
you let loneliness settle in;
feeling no joy,giving no love...
someone without the will to live!
All the pride and happiness
become empty and worthless;
you look at the spendid sunrise,
you see the joy on their faces,
but emotions long for those words
you'd like to forget and put away...
words that meant something yesterday!
It all ends when you give up hope,
and look to others to help you cope,
when tragedies demand your courage;
you lose confidence and worthiness,
making living an unrequired challenge...
fulfilling none of your promises!
All the castles we had built together
tumble down...in the rolling waves;
and we hoped they'd last forever,
but they vanished like morning dreams!
