Island of Fantasy
I sit in awe as I see a place just over the horizon where love last forever and is truly unconditional,
Where money has no meaning,
Where paradise is an afterthought and life has no conscious end.
This is a dwelling where family does not ever split apart,
Where abuse and violence never had a start,
Where racism is something no one knew the definition to,
Where even though there were millions around all I really saw was you.
This is a home where adultery never entered,
Where five fingers never wanted anything discounted,
Where ten fingers never had red hands stained,
Where there was no need for hospitals, jails, or coffins.
This is literally heaven on earth,
Where all is well and the unthinkable comes true every second,
Where I look around and see nothing but angels,
Where sleep is never needed,
Where a person is just a person,
Where you never have to stop dreaming…
