I tend to stay inside
with only thoughts of you to keep my mind occupied
struggling to understand how it all went so wrong
cant tell myself that I've missed you for far, far to long
Its three a.m., I'm wide awake and dreaming of you
wishing that you are asleep somewhere and dreaming of me too
but that is a thought that can not last
I know your out, out burying the past
and me along with it, at least you will try
excuse me a moment as I wipe a tear from my eye
how I envy you, being able to walk out that damned door
each time I try I miss you that much more
I tend to stay inside
all hopes of you walking back in...
