Insatiable Hunger

Insatiable Hunger Yes, The bread, salt, and water -- I had them every day, and I took them for granted. Instead, I was missing soda, ice cream, and candy. You were my daily bread, somebody to whom I could confess All my worries and hopes. All the problems of my day I could share with you. Now, you are gone forever; I hope that you are happy In heaven. My daily bread is gone. You were my daily bread, somebody to whom I could confess All my worries and hopes. Somebody with whom I could share all the problems Of my day. Now, my entire life had changed. This strange world around looks So empty. And I feel an insatiable hunger. Oh, God, For how long it will be possible, To survive only On a soda, ice cream and candy?
