Innocent Love,New Love

I had loved in this life but once, and lost
Though much younger was I, I was not vain,
For through realization of thought, I knew the cost
And that cost, was loves lost pain
In my heart I know what not thou mind dost
But that which I have been taught
I will not let be at rest, come to naught

Since first love lost, My heart did find
A Raven haired beauty, eyes of azure blue
Skin soft like silk, A heart so very true
Her love for me so very innocent and true
When together hand in hand we are of one mind
Thoughts intertwine, like the arms of a vine
I am proud to tell the world that you are mine

Time we spend together is pure rapture
Hour upon hour with you I seem to float
In my mind you are a picture, for a camera to capture
When we walk down the street I seem to gloat
I promise a love to you that will not fracture
I love you new love, with every ounce of my being
And to the rest of the world, believing is seeing
