Inner Emptiness and Internal Tears
To have an empty heart
For nearly thirteen years
Inner emptiness
Many internal tears
Music is my Savior
And now poetry has come along
I know where i want to be
It's where my empty heart belongs
I have thirteen years in storage
Of cuddles and company
Kisses and strong feelings
For someone to share with thee
If i had wings like an Eagle
I'd be in flight today
Over a blue stretch of water
To my future i would say
I'm just a simple man
From a distant Scottish Clan
Please take me in your arms
And be the man i can
Take me to your bosom
And let me hear your heart
To spark my ignition
Leave thirteen years in the dark
Take me by the hand
Hold me close and tight
Let me lie beside you
Every single night
To wake up beside you
Knowing i can touch and kiss
To know there's love tomorrow
Is this Highlanders only wish
