In the perfection, you become a prince
and love is set free.
Every emotional pain or loss I’ve ever known
is forgotten for I have you.
In the perfection, time and place
are unimportant.
There is only what we say or do
and the reality we create.
We can speak truth.
For from the lips where kisses are exchanged
lies cannot coexist.
We can forgive each other
a thousand times a day
all our human shortcomings and exasperations
until we tire and forget what we are
forgiving.
In the perfection, you see you
and I see me
and above all else
we see
us.
