In the Mood For Love Again

Isolating myself to mourn alone,
Never imagining desire for another.

Two years have slipped by,
Holding onto your memory.
Ever faithfully yours still.

Making our home into a shrine,
Only now realizing what
Others lovingly told me,
Doom for me won't bring you back.

Finding courage to live again,
Overwhelming at first.
Remembering feelings of desire put aside.

Longing for a sensual touch,
Opening my heart to another.
Vaguely remembering how to begin but
Excited to hope for a new love to share.

Arriving at this new faze,
Greatful for passion still found.
Almost feeling reborn.
I'm in the mood for love again.
Now is the time.
