In the Beginning

These nights are solid gold
illuminated with the essence of word
Chinese faces and African soul
So many truths go untold
Lies will always charge a toll

So does temptation burn in you
Are Do you live a lie with no sin
Do you know Were your going
And remember were you been

Because I've seen the sights of southern spirits
Stared in the eyes of Egyptian gods
Spoke in the voice of buddah
And I know why the holy light shines

I started excistance in simple form
Wondering through prelife purgatory
I inevitably cross paths with my soul mate
Sandy skin with Indian eyes
Humble as a peasant but a princess in disquise
Predestined to be one for a moment of infinity

We found yourself alone warmed by fire
Speaking with know words
With one beautiful glance from her, this belly dancer
With a sequential soul

Time seem to waking the slumbering winds
As we made love under a speckled chime sky
As I woke to be led away by a man in a velvet robe
The seperation left us with ever present question,
Why?

As we continued this journey to the beginning
He spoke of how life is a journey, be bold
And as He and I came to the end of a golden road
I awoke a baby with a angels soul.

I have tasted the love in southern spirits
Spoke in the voice of egyption gods
Been wrapped in the arms of buddah
And I've seen holy light shine
