Love Poem: In Sorrow...

In Sorrow...

In sorrow I call upon a dark reserve
Bristling with a dust and razor nature,
Infecting every fibre, every nerve,
Governed by a grief-laced legislature.
Pressed into the backdrop of the day,
In brooding consternation to await
The point of order made and cast away,
To rise and chew the hook that holds the bait.
Necrotic at the start of my undoing,
Vociferous in squalls of stormy weather,
And all that now begins, all now ensuing,
An ending to the times we had together.
In the cloud clad umber of the sky,
In sorrow, darker angels seem to sing,
Of all it means in truth for you and I,
Sad feelings at the end of everything.
