Love Poem: In Other Words

In Other Words

old isn't when you can't,
it is when you don't,
and thy pain is from within,
when without -

life is not a plan,
it is a chance,
intention is a puzzle,
breathing in irregular pieces -

thy beginning is the end,
and thereafter,
thy power is no more,
than hollow laughter -

determination is ego's frustration,
and we cheer,
silence is not golden,
rather beholding to thy fear -

practice requires perfection,
to save another's life,
intervention requires belief,
in anything -

a story is not permanence,
or truth,
just a bending of perception,
thy infinite youth -

to like a thing so much,
will diminish its allure,
sweat is passions motive,
not a reason to quit -

there is no clean,
we are hypothetical dirt,
conflict is not an inner battle,
it is indecisions potential -

superior is not being better than,
it is the realization,
of something other than,
seeing and believing -

faith is not religion,
play for truth or pretend,
feel nor fear,
there is no, the end -

-
