In Nature - 1

Lemon light whispering hope
Into the dawn
Joy into the breeze
Music into the gentle praise
Of One who created it all

Dewdrop dreams glimmering peace
Into the morning song
Coloring the heart in hues of faith
Inspirations so alive they abide
On the inside

Silent smiles from tulips and crocus
Striking the eyes
In haunting secrets that call
From the echoing paths
Along soft, sandy beaches

Lavender laughter delights
On the caress of a summer night
With stardust desire crying
Across the edges of compassion
Through the forest
Who captures truth praying
In tune to the mists falling

Breathing wishes through the thoughts
In passionate promises sought
By those who know love is alive
Thriving and abiding
On the inside of the one who knows
His spirit calls to us all
Through the beauty of a tangerine sun
And the miracle of a butterfly

Listen to the sigh of dandelion seeds
Being blown through meadows
Leaving starts of new life
Wherever they fall across black dirt
Nurtured by rain, bathed in the sun
Who knows that this is love
Although its just begun

Nature, in all it’s glorious yearnings
Melts my heart and leaves me with assurance
That God is a creator, a artist, a master
One who knows life is more than air and water

Life is a caress from His spirit
Wise and warm and welcoming
The soul to partake of healing

With God, there is only fulfillment
Of the heart and soul
The promise of His indwelling
Giving love a label
A poetic tag
A inspirational term
His muse
Is my light and laughter
My prayer to the One who made me
And continues to amaze me
