In Love With the Lover of My Soul
I love HIM with all my heart, strength and soul
Upheld by His grace of compassion role.
I do love HIM – my marvelous Lover
He reached down to me, leaving me never.
I love HIM midst my worthlessness indeed
Proving such with praise-word and service-deed.
I really love HIM, Saviour with great fame
By faith, I please Him, exalting His name.
I so love HIM because He first loved me*
Securing my life from hell’s enemy.
I’ll always love HIM all by His granted might
Sealed thru His truth’s light, absolutely right.
I love GOD… beyond eternity’s bliss
Abiding in His care – I must not miss.
*1 John 4:19 We love him (Lord God), because he first loved us.
