In His Tender Care
In gentleness and tenderness my
Lord draws me to His breast,
and after I partake of His loving nourishment
He carefully lays me down to rest.
For He cares for me as a watchful Father
and under His vigilant eye I know that I am so safe,
and definitely nothing can harm or come near me
without His knowledge as by it, it will not escape.
For years now, I have known His love
and just like a child He calls me to come and sit upon His knee,
where I am so safe and protected by Him
while He keeps the enemy of my soul so far away from me.
