In a Song

Getting ready to leave this show.
Time to get my self on the road.
Not bothered about things left behind.
That was once mine.
Thinking of me and that special one.
Time to move on.
Nothing matters any more will not look back as I close the door.
The future is bright unlike tonight.
If I was a drinker a few bottles I would be
sinking.
If I was a smoker I would now be choking.
Life goes on with its ups and downs
I no longer wear a frown .
Because in all honesty I have been put to
the test .
I could not care less.
A survivor I am I must be to last this long.
Wish I could put these words in a song.
A hit it might be .It has every thing emotionally.
Love and hate .Wanting and lust.
Not to mention frustration .
Like waiting at a station.
Knowing it will arrive . A question of when .
I wish I knew back then.
That the station line was blocked
Impossible to get near.
That for so many years .
