Love Poem: In a Breath

In a Breath

Breathing – in
Salty tears, silence, dreams
Feelings blessed by the beautiful
Who rose up to whisper
Faith into my believing, my receiving
Salvation, the wonder of light
Falling soft across my darkest night

Breathing – in
Imaginations, insights, inspirations
Whimsical ideas and blessings,
Reassurance that this place where I’m staying
Will never be the greatness that amazes,
When I reach my final destination…
There, there will be a quiet peace, a never
Ending paradise, heaven – my home
Forever, always, eternally mine… by His side

Breathing – in
Joy forevermore, gladness
Restoring my hopes and my love
Pouring out music into my soul, my spirit
Alive, dancing through the fires of elation, the
Pleasures who remind me why I’m alive,
Shining with the light that He placed inside

Breathing – OUT
Love that is my smile
Love that is my dance, my heart
Love that is my moment to give back
A part of the heart that He gave to me
When He saved me from the darkness, the shame,
The guilt and betrayal of a world who taught me that…
Being with Jesus meant being born again – into a life
Where there is love that quiets the chaotic – brings stillness
That arrives on wings of grace, singing Him praises, always - always
