But I know someone who is

He is the Master, the Savior, my friend

Up in heaven, by the right hand of God
Making intercession for my heart and soul

But I know the one who stills my soul
Gives me the opportunity to grow
And be someone I might want to know

But I know the God who continues to give
Sweetest encouragements and gifts
With a love that knows no ending

But I know Jesus is my best friend
And He will always lead me forward
To the places He means me to live
