Love Poem: Imagine Now That You Are Loved

Imagine Now That You Are Loved

Imagine now that you are loved! Was that so hard to do?
Now turn the world upon its head, imagine that you're through!
Can you tell me the differences, say how the world got changed?
My guess? You were the same person, though pictures rearranged!
She loves you, or she loves you not! It never was a bet,
Was she a fool? Did you screw-up? You haven't lost LOVE yet!
If love you would, then love again, the chance of winning's high,
If love she won't, then let her go, you aren't her reason's why!

It's foolish when we long for love that we can never own,
Your soul a crystal, brittle dream, that's shattered by a stone?
If love is real, not built on sand, she'll call you, never fear,
And if she doesn't, as you stand, a thousand think you "dear!"
You lose a lot when 'dissing those' whose path can't jibe with yours,
Why look to blame? But it's a shame if you're not giving tours!
A perfect match for a real prize if you'll let love approach,
Just wear your 'pumpkin' like a crown, and you won't need a 'coach!'
