A morning bouquet of new poetry
Sweet precious bluebird for your eyes to see
I hope that the path of your flight yesterday
Didn't change course with me in any way
I waited and waited for your bid goodnight
Then finally gave up and turned out the light
Curled up in my chair staring into the black
I hope today bluebird that you're coming back
