Illusions
no fairy tale love
no instant perfection
no such thing
nice and slow
built up one brick at a time
on a strong foundation
if love seems too good to be true
chances are it may be just illusion
once she starts seeing clear
the glass slipper shatters
including hopes and dreams
and without those
she’s left with less than nothing
