Love Poem: If My Wait Is Eternal

If My Wait Is Eternal

Hope can be delusional,
and if my wait is eternal
mothing can stop it;
and as hard as it is,
my patience won't wear out...
assuming it's not worthless!

If I can't ever kiss
my sweetheart lips,
it'll be the worse than death;
don't lovers deserve to laugh,
to spend nights in a moon-lit room,
not where shadows usually loom?

I have decided to wait
and outweigh the odds,
whoever is hopeless and sobs
must learn how to be patient;
whoever rushes into things,
will find out how useless it is!

Let my wait not be boring and eternal,
let days be filled with something magical;
let her presence be real, not out of touch!
A painter creates faces with his brush,
his canvas hang on the walls of his room:
there he makes many springs bloom!

If I can't ever kiss
my sweetheart burning lips,
let my wait be eternal,
not bitter and regretful...
until the right one
feels the desire for deep love!
