I Shall Hope
To dance with despair when your heart's broken
And cry for a cold lover you adore
You remember painful hurt of words spoken
When you heard the sound of a closing door
You saw the lasting sunset of love turning
As you crumbled upon an empty floor
And found no refuge from trembled yearning
From the tomorrows you will have no more
For time has not healed each tear you let fall
Nor released your sad eyes from bitter pain
To again hear the sweet voice of love call
And humbly enter into its domain
I shall stay here by your side until then
I shall hope your broken heart will mend
