I Don'T Want To Miss You Anymore

I don't want to miss you anymore,
For time has taught my heart to heal,
The pain once sharp, now a distant shore,
Where memories of us used to steal.

The echoes of your laughter, once so near,
Have faded softly into the past,
Like whispers of a love that's no longer here,
But in my heart, the echoes still last.

I don't want to miss you anymore,
The tears have dried, the storms have passed,
A new beginning lies before,
In this chapter, I stand steadfast.

The sun rises on a brand-new day,
And with it, hope and strength arise,
The ache that gripped my soul gives way,
To a newfound sense of being alive.

I don't want to miss you anymore,
I'll cherish the lessons that you taught,
The love we shared, the dreams we wore,
Now memories, no longer sought.

I've found my worth, my voice, my truth,
In letting go, I've set my heart free,
Though bittersweet, I stand aloof,
Ready to embrace what's meant to be.

I don't want to miss you anymore,
For life's too short to dwell on the past,
With every step, I'll seek to explore,
A future where love's shadows won't last.

The world awaits, and so do I,
With open arms and heart restored,
No longer captive to the "you and I,"
I walk a path where love is adored.

I don't want to miss you anymore,
My heart has found its peace and grace,
Through healing tears, a closed door,
I'll embrace life's new embrace.
